Shion: Walking around Japan "Photographer of Japan"

My name is Shion, and I am a photographer who travels with my feet and my camera as my companions. I have been traveling around Japan on foot, starting from Nagoya, and have even completed a circumnavigation of the country on a 50cc Cub (motorized scooter). I seek out the beauty hidden in the everyday, and I mainly take photos that highlight the appeal of local governments.

My style is to travel to uncharted territory rather than to tourist spots, and to tell stories from my own unique perspective. I capture the honesty and warmth of the local people's lives and the landscapes in each and every photograph.

While working as a sole proprietor, I also take requests to take photographs and sell the ones I have taken myself. I hope that through my work, people who see it can feel the climate and culture of various parts of Japan.

I am also Gump Suzuki's exclusive photographer, and I aim to convey his charm to everyone by taking photos that bring out his unique worldview to the fullest.
